Vandeleur Walled Garden & Visitor Centre are excited to host Cherish The Ladies live in-concert this June, as part of Vandeleur Festival Kilrush 2024.

Cherish the Ladies, one of America’s most acclaimed Irish music ensembles, have been captivating audiences worldwide for more than 39 years. Their music is an exhilarating combination of traditional music, captivating vocals, and step dancing. The Grammy-nominated super group formed in New York City in 1985, and have since toured across the globe performing thousands of concerts from the Olympics to the White House. They have an Emmy award-winning PBS television program, “An Irish Homecoming”, and 18 critically acclaimed albums.

Note: As on-site parking is limited, we encourage attendees to park in the town centre and use the pedestrian access to the garden via Turret Lane. A shuttle bus service will also be available. Details to follow.

Thriving behind old stone walls amongst 170 hectares of woodland near Kilrush in County Clare, the Vandeleur Walled Garden belonged to the Vandeleur family in the 19th century. The charming medley of plants provides a fascinating glimpse into the past. The garden specialises in flora that thrives in this unique microclimate. It also displays water features, a maze, giant chess, and a Victorian style glasshouse.
